You should bring at least 4 years of hands-on experience building retention programs for DTC brands, with a proven ability to translate data into actionable strategies and creative execution. Excellent writing and communication skills are essential, as is the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment. You should be comfortable managing multiple accounts, prioritizing tasks, and delivering results under tight timelines. Strong working knowledge of Klaviyo (campaign builder, segmentation, dynamic content) is required. Familiarity with Figma, Asana, Google Workspace, and Omnisend or HubSpot is a plus. Comfort with AI tools and a data-driven mindset are highly valued.

Project/department context
You will contribute to a dedicated client portfolio, designing and executing retention strategies that align with business goals. You’ll work cross-functionally with copywriters, designers, and technical teams to deliver on-brand communications that deepen customer relationships, increase engagement, and improve long-term value. This role emphasizes operational excellence, data-informed decision making, and scalable processes that support rapid growth for multiple accounts simultaneously.
- Collaborate with copywriting, design, and technical teams to implement retention marketing strategies across diverse DTC clients, ensuring seamless execution of email and SMS programs.
- Plan, manage, and optimize end-to-end email and SMS campaigns and automated flows (welcome series, re-engagement, post-purchase, and win-back programs) within Klaviyo and related tech stack.
- Develop and maintain client-specific retention calendars, briefs, and performance dashboards. Translate insights into actionable optimization plans to improve engagement, conversion, and long-term loyalty.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure assets, messaging, and segmentation reflect client goals and brand voice. Manage deliverables to meet deadlines and maintain high quality.
- Monitor campaign performance, run A/B tests, and produce actionable reporting on key metrics (open rates, CTR, conversion, LTV, RPM, ROAS) to refine creative strategies and retention tactics.
- Maintain strong client communications via video calls and Slack during US Eastern work hours; translate client needs into actionable briefs for the team.
- Leverage data to inform strategy, including audience segmentation, dynamic content, and lifecycle marketing optimization.
Bonus points for experience with Omnisend or HubSpot, Omnichannel marketing beyond email/SMS, and the ability to integrate retention tactics with broader growth programs. Strong project management capabilities, organizational prowess, and proactive communication are highly desirable as you balance multiple accounts and evolving client needs. Knowledge of Google Docs/Sheets and Asana for workflow management is preferred.
