Must-Have Skills & Experience
3–5+ years in a design agency, account management, gifting, promotional products, corporate merchandising, or a related client-facing role. Proven experience growing existing accounts and/or working with larger companies. Extremely detail-oriented and organized—you live in the details and hate mistakes. Strong communication skills (written and verbal); comfortable presenting to clients. Fashion-forward eye and strong taste; you care about aesthetics, trends, and quality. Experience with corporate gifting or swag programs and an instinct for what makes a gift feel special. Comfortable juggling multiple projects, deadlines, and stakeholders at once. Resourceful and scrappy—able to “figure it out” without lots of hand-holding.

We work with quality suppliers, source from overseas when it makes sense, and integrate with clients’ systems to make swag and gifting actually work for their business. This role sits at the intersection of account leadership, sales growth, and creative gifting, supporting a portfolio of key clients with strategic program development and flawless execution from concept to delivery.
Client & Sales Ownership
Own day-to-day relationships with key accounts and be their main point of contact. Proactively pitch new concepts, collections, and gifting ideas to grow existing accounts (land and expand). Create and deliver polished presentations to sell in new programs and collections. Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within large organizations and help close them.
Project & Account Management
Manage projects from idea → design → sampling → production → delivery. Coordinate with overseas design and production teams to bring concepts to life. Own timelines, budgets, and details to ensure orders are accurate and on schedule. Oversee proofs, specs, and approvals; catch issues before they reach the client. Handle post-sale follow-through, including tracking, problem-solving, and reporting.
Customer Experience
Provide white-glove customer service: fast, clear, proactive communication. Translate vague client needs into thoughtful, on-brand gifting concepts. Troubleshoot any issues with orders and own the resolution with professionalism and urgency.
Experience in the promotional products industry or with distributors/suppliers. Familiarity with Commonsku or similar industry platforms/CRMs. Basic design skills (e.g., working with mockups, simple layout tweaks, or giving clear design feedback). Experience working with overseas vendors or factories.
