Ingeniero Full-Stack

We are looking for candidates with:

• 3+ years of software engineering experience, with an emphasis on:
  • Experience designing, building, and managing scalable features in fast-paced, iterative environments, using our core stack:
    • Python (Flask), React, MongoDB, and AWS (ECS, EC2, Amplify).
  • Hands-on experience implementing Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines and working with vector search technologies.
  • Applied knowledge of prompt engineering, context management, and model evaluation to improve LLM-based systems.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• English proficiency (C2 according to CEFR levels).

At Lasso, we are building a grant funding platform that helps farmers and ranchers find, apply for, and win funding. Our mission is to secure the financial sustainability of small and medium-sized farms by providing intelligent matching, AI-driven workflows, and ag-tech education to modernize agricultural funding. As a Full-stack Engineer, you’ll help us scale our platform and impact, working closely with the founders and the engineering team to implement cutting-edge AI tools and deliver value to thousands of users.

As the 7th full-time team member, you’ll contribute to the product’s growth, influence technical decisions, and ship features that improve farmers’ access to funding. You’ll own features end-to-end, collaborate with customers to refine requirements, and help shape our architectural roadmap as we scale:

• Work directly with the co-founders and the engineering team to build and own product features on the platform, making daily decisions on how to solve hard problems.
• Gather feedback from existing and new customers and translate insights into impactful design and technical decisions.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and the development of the technical roadmap.
• Decide and implement new technologies and tools to ship better and faster, balancing speed with quality.
